Last night Heroes' owner Bob van Oosterhout and director/owner of Get Hooked Tim van Tartwijk signed a multi-year partnership between the basketball club from Den Bosch and the marketing agency from the same city prior to the game Heroes Den Bosch - Feyenoord Rotterdam. The announcement follows the recent steps both parties took to profile their brands stronger within their city.
Heroes Basketball has been given a new look this year: the club, for the first time in recent history is no longer dependent on a main sponsor, and gave themselves, before the start of the season, a new name, logo and style and the appearance of all means of communication were taken care of. This new appearance for the Heroes, that communicatively enforces the ambitions of the club in the area of sport and entertainment, was taken care of by the marketing agency Get Hooked from Den Bosch. "For a while we had been looking for a new partner who understood what it takes to create a powerful brand," Rob van Oosterhout says on behalf of Heroes Basketball. "Get Hooked has translated our view of a fun sports night out to a brand that we can expand in the years to come and will provide us with more recognition from in and outside our city walls.
The ambition to turn Heroes into a Powerful sports brand comes forth from a personal love of basketball
"The ambition to turn Heroes into a powerful sports brand comes forth from a personal love of basketball," Get Hooked owner Tim van Tartwijk admits. "Besides that, at Get Hooked, we all share a fascination for the difference a good and recognizable brand can make Roy Steenbakkers says. The challenge for Heroes, an entrepreneurial sports brand from our own city, fit perfectly within our own ambitions to make ourselves and our services more visible in 's-Hertogenbosch.
The partnership between Heroes and Get Hooked consists of more than just branding of the brand Heroes and the design of means of communication such as website, social media and the prints of the basketball club. Heroes and Get Hooked also organized a marketing workshop for 30 local entrepreneurs and sponsors. Besides that, Heroes offers visibility for Get Hooked in and surrounding De Maaspoort during games of the club. With this collaboration we offer each other now and in the years to come a beautiful stepping stone within and outside our city," Van Oosterhout and Van Tartwijk conclude.
